Cooking up a storm
This child loves to cook. He has his own cookbook (Molly Katzen's "Pretend Soup") that he enjoys but he wants to join in whenever there is any cooking happening in the kitchen.
He gives himself directions "Ga-win, bring-a 'dool [stool] over" (in order to stand at the counter - still has problems with "s" sound), "Ga-win, hot, don' touch", "Ga-win, d'ir [stir] ca-fully", etc.
So far he's helped make very successful glazed carrots, popovers, oatmeal, noodles, and the okra & tomatoes shown here.
