Birth Day
Garin was born at our new house in Charleston. He was born in a big birth tub, with the assistance of our awesome midwife and doula team. Home birth is great, it meant we didn't have to change locations in the middle of labor, or have additional chaos going on around us like in a hospital.
They say everything's bigger in Texas (or from Texas in this case), this kiddo was a whopper at 9 lbs, 8 ozs and 22 inches. (A full 3 lbs more than Carmel weighed at birth.) He has an amazing wing-span which we have yet to capture on film. And the longest newborn feet ever.
